Tony Pierce was a majorly decorated Soldier who spent all of his adult life up until now, serving in the Military of the United States of America. He had been stationed all over the world, in some backwoods areas of foreign countries and had served in several major wars. He often found himself in many dangerous situations, but his love for his country never faltered. His faith was in God to keep him safe or if he found himself in a situation where he was killed, he believed it would be for a greater purpose.Thankfully for him, his time in the service was rapidly coming to an end and all he wanted to do now was go home and spend time with his family.Tony had remained single so far and had no children that he knew of, but he was physically and emotionally tired and thought he needed to recoup before trying to meet someone. He was tired of always looking over his shoulder, being shot at and shooting back at people he didn't know, because that was his job. Now, all he wanted was some long awaited peace, some surfing and watching a bit of Nascar and maybe after that finding a partner and start a family. He fought hard and suffered through some tough times in the trenches and on the war fields, holding the enemy at bay. He was always looking over his shoulder and wondering if the next bullet that flew by would hit his body and snuff out his life.Thankfully, by the Grace of God, that never happened, and he was grateful to God for keeping him alive. A lot of his buddies were not as lucky and instead of going home to celebrate, they went home in a body bag. Sadly, that happened way too often and to way too many good men and women!Tony never thought going home would be as hard as some guys had said, but he was determined to find his way, his place and his peace in the world. Sadly for him that was not in the cards for him just yet.Somehow he found he had made an enemy somewhere along the line and he didn't know who or why, but his life was about to blow up in his face. His name had been bandied around by an unknown source and suddenly the majorly decorated soldier had become a national safety issue. When his plane landed in Charleston, South Carolina, all hell broke loose for him as he walked off the stairs from the plane and it only got worse, going downhill from there. When Tony reached the last step of the plane stairs, he was approached by several military soldiers with guns aimed directly at him and another MP put him in handcuffs. He was shocked and asked what was going on but was told to be quiet and he would find out soon enough. They put him in the back of an armed car and drove away to an unknown area on the military base. Before they arrived, he was blindfolded and read his rights.Tony was taken to an interrogation room and after long hours of yelling and repeated questions and accusations, he was given one phone call. To him it was a lifeline, and that call was his only real hope. He dialed a number and when the phone connected, he heard Madison Monroe, Private Investigator, he smiled and knew help would be on the way.Read on to find out how this mystery unfolds and how Madison Monroe figures out the mystery of Tony's fate.
