"This book is a way I learned to fall in love with myself. It was born from that act of selfishness in which transpires the most obvious form of altruism. Who will read it will understand what I want to express here. It is, first and foremost, an experience of life (live act) and then a scriptural one (scientific or philosophical, it depends on where you decide to enclose it). In the first part, I tried to cover the definition of the concept of Thanatos, under its many forms and meanings encountered in everyday life. Therefore, I started from my experience of conciliation with my death, and then I stopped at the will to get people (my readers) used to this kind of initiation into the mysteries of the universe, in general, and of our being, in particular. In the second part, I started from our false representations about love and I reached what this should mean this for all of us. The conclusion of the book is that we have so many occasions, in life, to get used to the idea of death (starting with accepting the sleep as a form of it), that it would be a shame not to take advantage of them (of their experimentation) and not to increase our awareness about this "final" moment of life. Because only in this way, we can be prepared (and each of us is, more or less, when it happens) for "the ultimate trip" we have to make."
