Do they ever contact loved ones, do they completely design a new life for themselves or do they completely disappear to never be discovered? As much as the author would like for this story to be true, it is entirely a fictional story. The author chose this one particular story because it happened in her youth and the mystery has never been solved. The lie the main character lived became real to her. In the end, the truth will prevail.
