In 2008, a great loss was suffered, and I felt that I was alone in my time of bereavement. I began to write down my feelings and would now like to share my tears, anger, smiles, and laughter with the world.This is a compilation of poems to express my feelings of grief and loss. I hope that my book will be able to give someone the comfort that they are looking for in their time of bereavement, and help to open a gateway of understanding in their loss.About the Author: A. Crutchfield is an up and coming author, who has been writing poetry and short stories for years. She has performed some of her poems in poetry lounges in the DC Metropolitan area. She has also been practicing freelance photography for some time and enjoys being able to communicate her feelings through pictures and words. A. Crutchfield is currently serving her country, in the U.S. Army. She has a desire to be a positive influence on peoples lives, both near and far. She finds great pleasure in knowing that her words bring others comfort.
