Makya lives in the Kingdom of Emperia where magic is banned but still prevails. He develops a strange relationship with a Valorian Prince Gervais who visits the Tahewi village. The young warrior finds a baby dragon on his journey out of the Wilderness. He must deal with ghosts, gods, and strange creatures on his travels. Reluctantly, he goes to Beaumont Palace in Valoria to help fulfill his destiny. He takes a dangerous quests where the challenges are unpredictable in their outcome.
